Born in Brazil, he graduated at Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires in Argentina.
For over 15 years he has worked as a cinematographer, director and producer.
His films, both feature and short, were awarded and screened at major international and national festivals such as BFI London, Rotterdam IFF, New Horizons IFF, Gothenburg, Brooklyn Horror IFF, Chattanooga, São Paulo IFF, IndieLisboa IFF, Gramado, Rio IFF, É tudo verdade, Tiradentes, Olhar and Cine Ceará.
He has received Best Cinematography awards at major Brazilian festivals such as the Festival de Gramado and the Festival de Brasília.
His most recent short film was voted Best Short Film of 2025 by the Brazilian Film Critics Association.
